
Camp Fairthorne is a fun-packed 5-night residential camp for ages 8-16. Immersed in nature, young guests can pursue their own interests allowing them to unplug from technology, unwind and focus on building new long-lasting friends. Adventure is there for the taking!

What's included?
Residential Camps include a full programme of activities throughout the day and evening, accommodation, full board (we can cater for all dietary requirements), and fully qualified, friendly staff, who are available 24 hours a day for your child.
Our young guests stay in 6 or 8 person YMCA tents with wooden floors during Summer camps. All tents/rooms are single-sex and based on age; our leaders stay in tents located next to the children’s tents.

FAQs
What ages can attend the camp?
Camp Fairthorne is for children about to start year 4 in September and older.
Where do children sleep?
Children sleep in single sex canvas tents in their own Camp Fairthorne tent area. The tents have wooden floors and accommodate 6 or 8 people; our camp leaders sleep in separate tents beside the children’s tents. Please see our list for sleeping items that children need to bring with them.
Where the toilets and showers?
There is a toilet/shower wash block within easy reach of the Camp Fairthorne tent village.
What activities do children do?
Camp Fairthorne children will stay together throughout their stay where they’ll enjoy their unique, standalone programme – see sample programme for more information. There’s an evening programme too to keep them entertained!
What food is included?
We provide healthy, home cooked meals for your child’s stay from dinner on arrival day to lunch on departure day. Our dining hall is a short walk from the camping area for breakfast and dinner, with packed lunches eaten around site depending on the weather. We can cater for all dietary needs so please confirm any requirements when making your booking.
How much does it cost?
Camp Fairthorne is offered from Sunday to Friday and is £475 including tented accommodation, all meals, activities and a goody bag. Our Family Member Discount Scheme holders receive a discount of up to 20% - see our member discount page for more details.
What time is drop off and pick up?
Children can be dropped off between 3.30-4pm on the Sunday that camp starts and collected at 4pm on the Friday that camp finishes.
