Located at a stunning 94 acre setting beside the Hamble River, outdoor adventures for 4-16 year olds are here for the taking. Build friendships, confidence and a host of new skills.  Fairthorne Manor Daycamps have been a source of fantastic memories for thousands of local children for over 40 years.

October Daycamps

Our October Daycamps are running from Monday 26th – Friday 30th October and are book by the day!  Book online or call 01489 785228. 

Daycamps are offered from 9.00am-4.00pm, with the option of extending the fun with Big Day from 7.45am-6.00pm. Click here to view our 2020 Daycamps prices.

We continue to follow and monitor the latest Government advice for Out of School clubs; this advice covers Daycamp programmes and more details can be found here.

Due to the current restrictions, our camps will look a little different to our normal programmes which is outlined in our Parent Information Pack. The Parent Information Pack will be sent out to you via email nearer the time, whilst we monitor the updated government guidance

Bubble request reminder – if your child is attending camp and wants to be in a bubble with a friend, send any requests to [email protected] by 12pm on the day before the start of the camp and we will do our best to put them in the same group. Please do not request to be in a group with more than 2 friends.

Multi-Activity Camp

Our signature Daycamp offered every school holiday, for children in years R-11. Children enjoy age appropriate adventures as part of separate age groups: Holiday Club (R-2), Activity Club (Y3-6), Adventure Club (Y7-9) and Club 14-16 (Y10-11).


Water Camp  

Offered during Easter, Whitsun & Summer children in years 4-9 make full use of our enclosed lake and River Hamble access as they experience new adventures on and in the water. Activities can include kayaking, raft building, stand up paddle boarding and much more. 

Survival Camp

Survival Camp

Offered during February, Easter, Whitsun and summer holidays for children going into years 4-9. Children will learn how to survive in the wild as they build dens, light and cook over a fire, track animals and learn camouflage techniques.

Offered on selected weeks during the summer for children going into school years 4-9. Children enjoy a week of performing arts as they learn and choreograph moves to put into practice for the end of week show! CANCELLED FOR SUMMER 2020 DUE TO COVID-19

Creative Art Camp

Offered on Summer weeks 2 and 5, Creative Art Camp offers children a fantastic chance to create unique works of art, and craft items to treasure. Aimed at beginners, but all are welcome.

Science Camp – NEW FOR 2020

Children will be hands-on in his exciting new addition, designed to make science interactive and innovative. There’s cool chemistry with erupting volcanoes and magic crystals, rockets launching into space and much more!  Offered during Whitsun and Summer Holidays week 3 and 4 for children going into years 4-9.

Big Day & Packed Lunches

We’ll take care of the food and some extended play if you’re busy.  Big Day extends the fun from 7.45am-6.00pm including breakfast & tea, with the option to add a packed lunch too. Find out more below.



Sleepover – Summer only (NOT AVAILABLE)

On Thursday nights during the main summer holiday weeks (27th July – 28th August), children in years 3-11 can enjoy a sleepover with new friends in our YMCA tents. Evening activities, dinner, breakfast & lunch the next day is all included. CANCELLED FOR SUMMER 2020 DUE TO COVID-19

Bus transport – Cancelled – Summer 2020

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and requirements for social distancing, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the Lucketts bus travel we would normally provide from 8 routes across the county.  If you’ve already made a bus booking we have emailed you to explain your options. Safety remains our top priority for all at this time.
