Children have the best time at Fairthorne Manor Daycamps. From the moment they arrive on the 94-acre site to the time they leave, there are opportunities to learn new skills, discover their interests, and have fun with friends. With a wide range of fantastic and exciting activities and outdoor adventures for children in YR-Y11, led by a friendly and experienced team, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
You can book now for May half term by the day. Prices start from £37 with extended mornings, afternoons, Big Day and lunch options available.

Multi-Activity Camps

Holiday Club (YR-Y2)
Designed especially for younger children starting their exploration of outdoor adventures to develop their independence, make new friends and have the most fun possible!
Activities could include nature themes with pond dipping, bug hunt, or a woodland walk, plenty of active fun on the jumpy pillow, or practising survival skills with fire lighting, sticky archery, and learning campfire songs.

Activity Club (Y3-Y6)
Activity Club offers excitement, fun and plenty of adrenalin-pumping outdoor activities. Enjoy a range of outdoor activities which could include, climbing, den building, orienteering, pioneering, camo and tracking, initiative tests, blind trail, team challenge, low ropes, fire lighting, aerial runway/zip wire, campfire, and archery. Making each day memorable at Fairthorne Manor.

Adventure & Club 14-16 (Y7-Y11)
Being in the oldest age groups means maximum activity choices with all of the above, plus added fun on offer with axe throwing, Crate Challenge, abseiling and an obstacle course to challenge and inspire.

Themed Camp - Survival
Get back into nature. Your child will learn fun tips about thriving in the wild as they build dens, track animals, learn camouflage techniques and many more outdoor skills. Book your space for the Easter Holidays.

Big Day
For just £17, you can extend the fun from 7:45am-6pm which includes the option of a continental or hot breakfast, and scrummy tea, or you can split the day into morning for £8, or afternoon only for £12.
Food
Bring a packed lunch or add on a hot lunch for just £6, to fuel your child's day of adventures. Breakfast and dinner are available when booking Big Day options.

What are your drop-off and collection times?
Standard day: 9am to 4pm, with drop off between 9am-9.30am and collection between 3:30pm-4pm
Big Day Morning: 7:45am-8am (breakfast is served at approximately 8:30am)
Big Day Afternoon: 4pm-5pm (dinner is served at approximately 4:30pm)
Full Big Day: 7:45am-5pm
My child has additional needs, what support do you offer?
Specialist care and support to enable children with additional support needs or disabilities access our mainstream scheme via Hampshire County Council Short Breaks scheme. New applications to our Short Breaks scheme are currently on hold but you are welcome to complete a profile form and we will add you to the waiting list – discover more on how our scheme works.
How do I pay with Tax Free Childcare or Childcare Vouchers?
As all YMCA Daycamps and Residential Camps are Ofsted registered and classified as childcare, you can save money by paying with Childcare Vouchers or the Government’s Tax-Free Childcare scheme.

What precautions do you take around nut allergies?
We are a ‘Nut aware’ site and therefore do not provide or sell any products containing nuts and ask parents to ensure their child's lunch does not contain nuts to help keep everyone safe.
What should my child take to Daycamps?
You child will be kept active and outdoor activities take place come rain or shine. To make sure that your child is prepared each day, please bring the following named kit:
> Packed lunch and a drink (refillable bottle)
> Snacks for breaks in the day
> Sun hat and cream if weather is warm
> Shoes that can and will get wet
> Wellies
> Towel (warm showers and changing facilities are available)
> Warm clothing (jacket, jumpers, trousers)
> Waterproof jacket
> Spare clothes (a complete set, including pants and socks)
> Plastic bag (to put wet clothes in)
> Spare shoes to travel home in
> Optional tuck money (in a named purse/wallet)
> Medication if required
What if my child requires medication?
If your child requires medication, please complete the medical form to handover at drop off.
Can my child bring their mobile phone?
We ask that you leave all mobile phones and other devices at home so your child can focus fully on the fun of Daycamps. We also cannot take responsibility if they are lost or damaged. If you need to contact your child in an emergency during the day, you can call the duty number 07880 710903.
