As lockdown restrictions begin to lift, many of us will resume our everyday lives: visiting friends and family, returning to work and enjoying the summer. But for many young people, their lives remain locked down.
42,000 young people across Hampshire and Isle of Wight are growing up affected by homelessness. Without a secure home, they are deprived of the opportunities they need to develop essential life skills, gain employment, build healthy relationships and look after their physical and mental health. Now more than ever, they face being left behind.
What we do next could change everything. Donate today to help young people like Charlie, whose parents told her to leave the family home when she was just 15. Charlie faced the coronavirus crisis without the support of her family. Without the stability she needs, she now risks becoming even more isolated.
Whatever your new normal looks like after lockdown, your help can ensure no one gets left behind.
