September saw the Grand Opening of our new Astroturf pitch at the YMCA Newtown Youth and Community Centre.

Kindly funded by SUEZ Communities Trust, visitors to the inauguration enjoyed a 60 person football tournament, as well as penalty shoot outs, sumo suits and face painting. The new pitch comes with great excitement as the previous Astroturf had become worn out after its many years of service. The fencing and floodlights also received a much needed renovation.
