Located on Sandown Road at the Lake end of Shanklin, your child will access a range of activities with our caring and dedicated team supporting them all the way. The nursery has a beautiful garden for children to explore their own adventures.
As well as access to the beach, local parks and amenities, the nursery has extensive gardens offering your child a unique environment for their learning and development. Your child will have daily opportunities to learn and develop through play, with a particular focus on the outdoors. The nursery fully embraces active and outdoor play with each day bringing a new adventure.
All of our meals are prepared fresh daily so we can ensure your child enjoys healthy, tasty and nutritious meals.

Caterpillar Room (4 months – 3 years)
Our experienced team create a safe and nurturing ‘home from home’ for your child, establishing strong bonds with baby and you.
We work closely with you to understand your child’s interests and emerging personality, and help with big steps such as weaning and walking.
New experiences are introduced as your child develops, such as treasure baskets, controlled climbing and heuristic play.
Your child will have daily opportunities to get messy, be physically active and express their creativity and development. A cosy sleep space ensures a relaxing nap time.
Children also have access to the garden with plenty of resources and shelter. 2 year olds may stay beyond their 2nd birthday in this room.

Butterfly Room (2.5 years – 5 years)
Your child will want lots of opportunities to be physically active and build on their growing confidence and independence. They will learn about their environment through play, discovering how fast they can move, co-ordination and developing imagination. Our stimulating indoor space and garden will ensure your child benefits from a mixture of child initiated and adult led activities that enhance their learning.
Children spend time in age groups of 2-3 and 3-5 years, with time to spend together and learn from each other. Your child will have access to unrivalled outdoor facilities, enjoying activities such as den building, mini beast hunts, beach walks and rock pooling.
As your child grows, they will have daily opportunities to develop confidence, independence, and social skills. They’ll climb, run, balance, jump, splash, explore books and make dens. In our outdoor classroom, they’ll problem solve, take risks, share ideas and develop language.
