Bringing happy, healthy lives across Hampshire
At the YMCA, we get alongside people in their local community to identify and establish places and programmes that help everyone thrive. Whether early years, community provision or school holiday programmes, we create opportunities for people to get together, and have happy and healthy lives.
We already have thriving community branches in Andover, Eastleigh, Fairthorne Manor, Newtown and Weston & Woolston. But we’d like to hear from you. Tell us what you love about our services or even what you’d change – get in touch – these are your community branches and your views count.
If there’s not currently a YMCA in your community and you think there should be – tell us! [email protected]
Coming to a community near you!
Sally Arscott our YMCA Development Director tells more about two new locations that are opening soon, are these your local communities?
YMCA New Milton
We’re excited to announce that we are adding New Milton as our 14th Nursery to our list of Early Years locations! Opening from 23rd April 2019, our nursery will offer high quality childcare for children aged 0-5 years in the local community. The purpose-built building offers exciting spaces for children to learn, develop and, most importantly, have fun. Our outdoor area can be accessed from each room allowing children to explore and create their own adventure.
For more information including opening times and prices, or to apply for an Early Years role, please see our New Milton Nursery Page.
YMCA in Stoneham, Eastleigh
Our next YMCA will be in the North Stoneham Park development and is part of a suite of local facilities, which will include a new primary school, shops and office space to serve the 1100 houses now being built. The YMCA will be a 2-storey building comprising of a 95-place nursery, sports hall, youth room, café, meeting rooms and health suite. We’re aiming to open in September 2020 and will keep you posted as we get nearer launch date.
