Daycamps the YMCA Way!
We are getting lots of questions at the moment about our school holiday Daycamps so we thought this would be a great opportunity to share information about them with you. We have been delivering Daycamps for over 40 years and have enjoyed sharing these amazing experiences with thousands of children.
Our next Daycamps is February Half-Term and each of our settings in Southampton, Portsmouth, Fairthorne Manor and on the Isle of Wight are gearing up to welcome the children to a whole array of exciting activities.
Each setting offers something a little different:
Fairthorne Manor near Botley is our outdoor activity centre and a Daycamps day consists of enjoying an array of the fun activities from climbing to aerial runway, bouncy pillow to kayaking. Our activities run whatever the weather so come prepared for a little bit of mud but lots of new experiences. To find out more about our Fairthorne Manor Daycamps please visit their web page. Southampton Daycamps are set within the grounds of the Oasis Academy in Maybush, Sholing, Being based within the school allows us to utilise the fantastic facilities they have there, from the cooking facilities to outdoor sports fields the activities programme at Southampton offers a varied choice with something for everyone. Have a look at their Daycamps information. Southampton Daycamps
Portsmouth Daycamps again offer something slightly different to the others. Situated in a Sports Centre and adjoining church hall, portsmouth are able to use the vast space that they have to offer a diverse and eclectic programme of activities. From swimming to arts and crafts, local trips to sports games no two days are the same. Their February programme can be viewed here. Portsmouth Daycamps
Isle of Wight Daycamps are based at Winchester House near Shanklin, a beautiful location over looking Sandown Bay. It is this prime location that we really make the most out of, with a key part of the daycamps programme being based around our beach school activities as well as trips and events around the area. A smaller setting to the others have a look at the February Daycamps programme the team have put together. Isle of Wight Daycamps
Regardless of whichever setting you may look at, they all put the children and their experiences at the heart of what they do. Helping the children to make new friends and create lasting memories, each and every time they join us.
