Homelessness is more than being without a home. 42,000 young people living across Hampshire and Isle of Wight are currently affected by insecure housing and homelessness: all their energy is spent looking after their basic needs and trying to keep themselves safe. They are lacking the secure foundation they need develop vital life skills, build healthy relationships and step into independent living.

YMCA Supportive Housing
Our supportive housing programmes offer safe and secure accommodation to over 200 young people aged 16 – 30 in Southampton, Basingstoke and Isle of Wight every year. YMCA offers more than housing, providing residents the opportunities they need to access support and gain life skills that will enable them to move on into leading happy, healthy lives.
