Portsmouth Daycamps offers your child the chance to have fun, indoors and outdoors with friends, both old and new, to connect with positive role models, and gives them a break from the pressures and stress of school and everyday life.
With a wide choice of craft and physical activities there’s something to interest every child. Suitable for children in YR-Y11 during May Half Term, and children aged 5-12 during the Summer Holidays. Located at the Mountbatten Centre, Alex Way, Hilsea, PO2 9QA.
The friendly YMCA Portsmouth team has been welcoming children and young people to Portsmouth school holiday playschemes for over twenty years, so you can rest assured they’re in the best hands.
What will your child get up to?
Your child will be grouped with new friends similar in age and will have the opportunity to select daily activities from a range of exciting options plus some free playtime. Each group will complete 2 active activities, 1 craft, and free play.
On the day
Your child will need to bring:
Packed lunch, a drink in a refillable bottle, and weather and activity appropriate clothing. Please remember to name all your child’s belongings.
Free parking is available on site.
Family Discount Scheme
Members of our discount scheme receive a discount of up to 20%. If you have a child in one of our childcare settings, then you’re automatically a member!
Prices & Booking
Just £30 per child per day for 8 hours of professional care and a variety of age appropriate activities. You can add extend your booking from 8am-6pm for £7.

Times
Our Daycamp standard times are from 9am to 5pm. You can extend your child day to 8am-6pm for £6.
Tax Free Childcare & Childcare Vouchers
As all YMCA Daycamps and Residential Camps are Ofsted registered and classified as childcare, you can save money by paying with Childcare Vouchers or the Government’s Tax-Free Childcare scheme.
