Changes to Portsmouth Holiday Club

Portsmouth Holiday Club is moving to YMCA Fairthorne Manor exclusively for HAF children in years 1-11. Running for 4 weeks in the Summer Holiday, weekdays from the 5th-20th August. There will be a coach drop off at 9:15 am (leaves at 9:30 am) and pick up at 3:45 pm from Charter Community Sports Centre, Greetham Street.

This change will improve our services, help us grow our programmes and give your children the best summer holidays ever!

Each day your child will be looked after by our friendly YMCA staff member. They will be welcomed onto the coach ready to travel to Fairthorne Manor. When your child arrives they will be given a group leader to enjoy 3 fun filled activities, this could include a bouncy pillow, pirate ship, team challenge, obstacle course, den building and Wide games.

We welcome children with support needs to attend our Daycamp programmes. We appreciate that support requirements vary from child to child so if you think your child would benefit from additional support, please contact us on 01489 785228 before making your booking. Children with 1:1 support requirements and registered for a Gateway card can benefit from 1:1 support provided as part of the Hampshire County Council Short Breaks Scheme.
The majority of our activities are suitable for children with disabilities or can be adapted to make them accessible to ensure everyone can experience the benefits of outdoor adventure.  Camp Fairthorne children stay in tents with wooden floors and access a nearby toilet and shower block which has an accessible bathroom. Please contact us to discuss your child’s requirements.
