Support

We believe every young person should have the opportunity to achieve their true potential. Our dedicated team work with young people in line with their needs, strengths and interests, supporting them to achieve wellbeing, healthy relationships, independent living and gain valuable life skills. A key component of support is empowering young people to access education and sustainable employment.

Applying for a place

All residents at George Williams House have their application assessed at the Housing Panel, a joint meeting with other housing providers and Southampton City Council to consider all applications. To apply for housing, potential residents must either:

Referals usually come from No Limits, so please visit: No Limits on High Street, Southampton
Apply: via Southampton City Council’s Homeless Person’s Unit on 02380 832327 or visit the council website.

If you are under 18 you cannot directly refer and must go to the Homeless Person’s Unit. All applications are considered, and vacancies are allocated based on need.

Y-Pass

Our Y-Pass programme has been specifically developed by our housing team to support the needs of young people and improve their lives.

Y-Pass modules include skills that many of us take for granted – budgeting, life skills, CV writing, applying for jobs, cooking on a budget, health and wellbeing, healthy relationships and sexual health. We have broadened the programme to include other young people across our youth services and other housing projects.
