Job Purpose:
Based at YMCA Fairthorne Manor, as part of a small marketing team, you’ll be supporting the planning and delivery of marketing activities that lead to sales, fundraising, recruitment, and public relations across Fairthorne Group. As a Marketing Coordinator, you’ll be involved with understanding brand guidelines and consistently implementing the brand voice across all channels and marketing materials.
Your main responsibilities will include analysing market and data trends and using this information to help to implement effective marketing strategies to drive sales, fundraising, and engagement. You’ll also play a key role in working alongside the Sales & Marketing team at Fairthorne Manor as part of our community-driven transformation. Collaboration across departments, and YMCA branches, is essential for success in this role as you’ll be at the heart of the creative process. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is brimming with creativity to be an essential part of the team.
Person Specification, Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience of working within a marketing role, including print processes, with the ability to produce a wide range of creative design-based material.
- A marketing qualification is desirable. Social media campaign experience across Meta, Tik Tok and LinkedIn for business.
- Events marketing experience.
- A good level of computer literacy, able to use Microsoft Office 365, and Canva.
- Experience in using marketing information and metrics to inform decision making.
- Excellent copywriting skills to convey brand message.
- Photography and/or video skills.
- Ability to adapt communications to different audiences.
