YMCA Eastleigh is thrilled to announce that it has achieved an Outstanding Ofsted inspection rating which is a testament to the unwavering commitment of its entire team in providing exceptional childcare services. The recent achievement reflects the dedication and passion of YMCA Eastleigh in offering the best nursery experience possible for children aged 4 months to 5 years.
Under the guidance of dedicated staff, YMCA Eastleigh Nursery has consistently strived to create a nurturing environment space for children of all ages. From cosy, nurturing care for babies and toddlers to engaging and exciting activities for active pre-schoolers, the nursery team aim to provide a supportive space for young one to thrive. The direct access to the garden further enhances outdoor learning and play opportunities, fostering holistic development in children.
The Outstanding Ofsted inspection rating validates their hard work and dedication to ensure that every child can be given the opportunity and support to thrive and build all of the skills needed to be a happy, healthy, and confident individual.
The Ofsted inspection encompassed various aspects of the YMCA Eastleigh’s operations, including the quality of education, care, leadership, and management. The team’s exceptional efforts were recognised in every aspect of the inspection, resulting in the Outstanding rating.
Highlights of the Ofsted inspection report include:
Exceptional Education: All children receive the support they need to access the same curriculum as their peers. As a result, children who are behind in their development when they start at the nursery quickly catch up, particularly in their speech and language and emotional development.
Caring Environment: The report commended the Staff who promote positive attitudes to learning. They provide a highly varied and exciting curriculum, particularly in the wonderful garden area that successfully inspires children to learn outdoors.
Outstanding Leadership: Managers are highly successful in continually improving outcomes for children. There is a very strong focus on supporting
staff and other YMCA nurseries to provide inclusive care and education for children
Positive Impact: Staff provide children with a wealth of interesting resources and activities that inspire and motivate them to learn and give them the skills they need for the future
