The world’s largest festival of young carers returns 26th-28th June.
YMCA Fairthorne Group is proud to once again be working in partnership with The Children’s Society to bring together Young Carers from across the country in a weekend of fun, respite, and recognition.
This year, we are over the moon to be introducing changes to make the festival more accessible than ever, meaning more young people can enjoy the unforgettable experience.
What’s changed for 2026?
New payment terms
- To support as many groups as possible in attending YCF this year, we are now introducing new payment terms. Now, groups will be requested to pay a 30% deposit at the point of booking, and then the outstanding balance will be invoiced 10 weeks ahead of the festival date and must be paid within 30 days of invoice.
Extending to schools
- For the first time, we are now able to invite School Young Carers Groups to the festival. This is all part of our aim to ensure that no young person misses out.
50% off adult tickets
- We recognise the vital work that professionals and volunteers do in supporting Young Carers everyday. That is why we are introducing a 50% reduced rate for the trusted adults who know the Young Carers best.
