Designed especially for home educated children in the Hampshire area, our Home Education Adventure Days are all about giving your child the chance to make new friends, build connections with other home educated children, and experience adventure. At our 95-acre activity site Fairthorne Manor, children will enjoy a day of adventure, teamwork, and play in a safe, welcoming environment. Whether you’re new to home education and looking to support your child’s socialisation, or part of a well-established home-educators group, your child is invited to join in.


When? Monday 6th October | 9am-3pm

Looking for an exciting, active day for your home educated child? Join us for a full day of adventure led by our qualified instructors! From 9am–3pm on Monday 6th October, children will take part in three action-packed activities –all for just £54 per child, including lunch.

Home education adventure days are great way for your child to build confidence, make new friends, and enjoy the outdoors! It’s a great way to build your Hampshire Home School community with other parents and children in the local areas, such as Southampton, Winchester, Romsey, Fareham, and Portsmouth, who are home educating their child.

FAQs

We have created these days, exclusively for children who are home schooled. This day aims to give them a chance to connect with others, have fun, and experience a school trip.
For children in school years 3-9. They will be split into groups depending on their age - year 3-6 (primary) and year 7-9 (secondary) to ensure activities are suited to them, and that they are with children a similar age.
You can book your child in by using our online shop  (If you need any help with this, please watch our video here.) You will need to create an account first and add in your child's details, we need all this information to ensure your child has the best day. Once your children's profile has been created, you can add them to the bookings. Please note, bookings close at midnight, two days before the booking, or on the Friday if your booking is at the start of the week.
Your child will be kept active and outdoor activities take place come rain or shine. To make sure that your child is prepared each day, please bring the following named kit: > Drink (refillable bottle) > Snacks for breaks in the day > Sun hat and cream if weather is warm > Shoes that can and will get wet > Wellies > Towel (warm showers and changing facilities are available) > Warm clothing (jacket, jumpers, trousers) > Waterproof jacket > Spare clothes (a complete set, including pants and socks) > Plastic bag (to put wet clothes in) > Spare shoes to travel home in > Optional tuck money (in a named purse/wallet) > Medication if required
