Welcome to YMCA Isle of Wight!
Isle of Wight services are based primarily at a stunning cliff top location of Winchester House, Shanklin. A stunning 115 bed residential property that also houses a mother and baby unit and a wide range of community services and projects. With a focus on childcare, we have expanded our presence into Newport, offering a large early years nursery at St Mary’s Hospital.

YMCA Winchester House, in Shanklin, is a great base from which to explore the Isle of Wight. With sweeping cliff top views across Hope Bay, open all year with easy access to many island attractions and great transport links, it’s the ideal setting for your group.

Support
Housing
The Lodge is an early-years focused service, working with single mothers and pregnant woman aged 16-25, and their infants, who are experiencing homelessness. All those engaged in the programme move into The Lodge and take part in activities delivered by the YMCA team, community volunteers and other agencies.
