Finding Connection This Winter at YMCA Eastleigh
As the days grow shorter and the temperatures drop, winter can often feel like the loneliest season of all. It’s easy to retreat indoors, but staying connected is more important than ever – and that’s where YMCA Eastleigh Community Centre and Cafe comes in.
Located on the edge of North Stoneham Park, our community café is a welcoming hub for people of all ages. From children’s activities to over-60s groups, fitness classes, scouts, churches, and private events, our centre brings together a wonderfully diverse mix of people – all under one roof.
At the heart of what we do is community. The Chatty Cafe scheme is the UK’s leading non-profit social enterprise designed to tackle loneliness. Our Chatty Café table is always open to anyone who fancies a warm drink and a friendly chat. Whether you’re feeling a little isolated, new to the area, or just enjoy meeting new faces, you’ll find a friendly welcome waiting. Simply pull up a chair and have a chat with one of our lovely locals or team members.

The café itself is open daily from 10am – 3.45pm, so there’s always time to stop by for a cuppa and a chat.
