We would love you to bring your enthusiasm for supporting vulnerable young people and adults across our settings. We are actively searching for a delivery driver to assist with picking up surplus food and donations from agencies such as Costco. This is an important role, as it will help ensure that young people, particularly those who are vulnerable, continue to have access to food and support.

We want you if…..

  • You like working with young people and have some experience of this
  • You are a driver and have access to your own vehicle
  • You want to make a difference to our community
  • You are willing to follow YMCA Fairthorne Group procedures and complete a DBS check

What you get in return?

  • Mileage expenses
  • A chance to support vulnerable young people and adults in our local community to live happy and healthy lives
  • Develop skills and a chance to enhance your CV
  • Join a great team of like-minded people
  • The opportunity to learn about and be part of a huge international YMCA movement

What is the time commitment required?

The time commitment is flexible depending on the needs of the house, but donation collections tend to be over the weekend period. Whether you can offer a regular weekly commitment or occasional support we would be interested in talking to you.
