We’re excited to inform our families that Fairthorne Manor Nursery is getting a wonderful upgrade! Our rooms are being transformed to create even better spaces for children to learn, play and grow.
A brand new room for our pre-schoolers (Badgers)
From Monday 14th, our pre-schoolers will move into a beautifully refreshed Badgers room. Everything about the new space – the layout, the furniture, the resources – has been carefully chosen with their stage of development in mind, helping to nurture their growing independence and confidence, and supporting them on their journey to school readiness.
Children will also benefit from frequent access to our woodland garden, with free-flow access starting in the coming weeks – giving them the freedom to move between indoor and outdoor learning as they choose.
Looking ahead, we’re also planning further lovely additions to the space, including a snack bar children can access all by themselves, and a brand new sensory garden!
A fresh new look for Foxes
Our Foxes room is having an exciting makeover too! Having the right equipment and play spaces at just the right stage makes such a difference to how children learn – it gives them the confidence to explore, try new things, and build the skills they’ll need for their next steps. The new play spaces have been thoughtfully designed to support this stage of development, giving children the freedom to explore and move safely around the whole room, and start making their own choices about what to play with. From encouraging early problem-solving to building coordination and social skills, these carefully chosen resources will help our Foxes children thrive – all with safety considered every step of the way.
