Invest in young people across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight

Partner with YMCA Fairthorne Group to fund childcare, outdoor learning, housing and support for young people in your community, with clear reporting on where your support goes.

  • Since 1940 supporting local families and young people
  • 15 sites across our service areas; nurseries, housing, community centres and Fairthorne Manor

One charity, from early years to early adulthood

YMCA Fairthorne Group is one of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight's largest charities, supporting children and young people at every stage, from their first nursery place to their first home.

That range means a partnership can be shaped around your business: a site near your office, a cause your staff care about, or something that reaches across the region.

Our impact last year

  • Community 12,100+ children and young people in activities and residentials
  • Early years 1,222 under-5s cared for in our nurseries
  • Community 1,000+ Young Carers at the Young Carers Festival
  • Housing 308 young people supported in YMCA housing

About our youth housing

Help make the Young Carers Festival free for every Young Carer in 2027

For some young people, the school day ends and caring begins. The festival gives them a weekend to be young, alongside others who understand their lives.

In 2027 we want to remove attendance fees entirely. Our target is £200,000, and every £140 funds one Young Carer's place.
