Your Accommodation

Ben's House

Set within the old walled garden of the Manor House, Ben’s House is a purpose built, single storey block for up to 84 people across 3 wings. Each 4 bedded bunk room has it’s own sink and access to shared bathroom facilities; leaders enjoy twin ensuite rooms, a leaders’ lounge on each wing, tea and coffee facilities and wifi throughout.

Heald House

A comfortable 88 bed, 3 storey block accommodating guests in 2, 3, 4 and 6 bunk bedded rooms. Two twin ensuite leaders’ rooms on two of the floors and two leaders' rooms with shared bathroom. Each rooms includes a sink. Rooms are located around a central meeting area on each floor, with free wifi and tea and coffee making facilities for leaders.

Camping

Our pre-erected 6 and 8 person tents all have wooden floors and pitched in 4 tent villages. Each village benefits from a communal marquee with lighting, chairs, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities for leaders. Toilet and showers facilities are available a very short walk from each village.

We have had an incredible time. A colleague who'd not been here before asked if it's always this good - YES! The staff are all amazing and take care to learn the different children and their needs. The programme offers a great variety of activities and allows children of all abilities the opportunity to succeed and discover new skills.

    We have a range of activities to suit a range of desired outcomes depending on your requirements. See our activity page for further details.
    Our set times are 09:30 - 11:00, 11:15 - 12:45, 13:45 - 15:15 and 15:30 from Spring to Autumn and 30 mins earlier in the winter.
    Yes, we offer an evening activity for residential groups during the week including wide games, sports and games, campfire and a disco.
    Yes, our dedicated onsite catering team can cater for all dietary requirements.  See our sample winter menu here
    Yes for children under 12. Young people aged 12+ pay an extra £4.60/day + VAT for adult food portions. View the sample menu here. All residential stays are full-board with our healthy, nutritious meals all cooked in-house by our catering team. Served in our purpose-built spacious dining hall, we can cater for all dietary requirements and allergens. Our catering team are happy to discuss any specific requirements for your group in advance of your trip.
    Prices are based on the first date of stay if overlapping pricing seasons.
    Indoor groups must bring sleeping bags, pillows, and pillowcases. Leaders in indoor accommodation are provided with the bed linen. Tent groups bring sleeping mats, leaders get a camp bed and mattress.
    One free staff place for every 12 young people, additional staff pay £39 per night + VAT for bed and board.
    Residential prices are based on a minimum of 12 children and include selected activities, accommodation, and full board with lunch as the first and last meal.
    Super Low season is restricted to 8 or 12 activities per week-long booking.
