YMCA delivers a range of youth work programmes that help support young people in a variety of settings and circumstances, including the most vulnerable.

Activities are part of our youth work.

Andover

A youth club for 10-14 year olds runs every Tuesday 6pm to 8pm, offering a range of indoor and outdoor activities. The club runs on a drop-in basis: there is no need to book.

Saturday Youth Group for young people with additional needs who need a moderate level of support runs for different age groups every other week: 8-11 year olds then 11-13s. Ideal for young people who can thrive in a 1:3 or 1:4 staff ratio. Advance booking essential.

Newtown

Newtown Youth & Community Centre
 
There are no youth club sessions running currently, we are aiming to reopen in line with the government restrictions lifting on 19.7.21. We do however, have a couple of sessions running from the centre, delivered by partners: 
 
Stoneham FC
 
Girls football session aimed specifically at our BAME communities. 
 
Who: Girls aged 5-12 years
When: Thursday 4pm-5pm
 
Wicketz delivered by Ageas bowl
 
Community cricket programme providing weekly cricket opportunities, alongside themed life-skill workshops designed to help young people gain understanding, qualifications and improve their lives.
 
Who: 11-16 years
When: Thursdays 5:30pm-7pm
Where: Newtown YMCA/St Mary’s Leisure Centre

Eastleigh

Coming soon! Exciting groups for school years Y6-8 and Y9-13 will soon be running at YMCA Eastleigh in the North Stoneham Park Estate.

Our dedicated youth room provides a space for young people to meet, socialise and take part in activities and programmes. Register your interest now eastleigh@ymca-fg.org.
