What Is Leaders in Training?
Our Leaders in Training (LIT) programme offers a practical, structured week focused on learning how children’s activity sessions are planned, delivered and supported. Running across the full week, it allows 14-16 year olds to build skills, practice them and see clear progression as their confidence grows.
Leaders in Training perfectly combines learning and fun, and leaves young people with the tools to take with them in the future. Throughout the week, participants will take part in adventurous activities that develop leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills. This unique camp is all about inspiring future leaders.
'LIT' Camp includes some of our favourites! Including outdoor activities, basic first aid training, and safeguarding awareness.
Why Choose Our Camp?
Leaders in Training is not just fun for your child, but will inspire them. Alongside taking part in our brilliant Fairthorne Manor activities, young people will shadow and supervise, learning all there is to being a leader.
With trained instructors and carefully planned sessions, young people will also learn first aid basics, policies and procedures, before planning and delivering their very own activity session to the rest of the group.
Leaders in Training is exclusively for teenagers aged 14-16.
