Residential adventure

Whether it’s a school trip, youth group or sports team, a residential visit to an outdoor centre provides excellent opportunities for children and young people to learn.  As well as supporting learning across many curriculum areas, a residential stay is particularly powerful in the social and emotional aspects of learning. Communication, collaboration, confidence, empathy and self esteem are key areas we deliver on, which support and enable learning in other areas.

A residential stay at Fairthorne Manor includes accommodation, full board, instructor led activities and dedicated link staff to ensure the smoothest of stays. If you don’t need the activities but want to run your own sessions here we offer a flexible option of just room hire.

Information for parents

Experience tells us that group leaders will receive lots of questions from parents about the trip. Parents will naturally have lots of questions to ensure your child is in safe hands, where they’ll be sleeping, what they’ll be eating and other general questions about their visit.

See our parent pack below which addresses the most frequently asked questions.

Booking

Our flexibility enables us to offer stays from one night to a full week or more. Packages reflect the most popular type of stay and offer the best value, but we can offer bespoke programmes to include room hire, offsite visits and free time. Get in touch and the friendly team will talk through the best option for you.
